The author has given interesting and erudite answers to questions which have intrigued Americans for some time, what was the truth about JFK's private life, associations with mobsters etc. As an American living in Europe I recommend this book to those who have found Seymour Hersh's account of JFK too difficult to swallow.

At last an author who is willing to approach the subject of the Kennedy's in a fascinating, responsible and realistic way. He has cut through the misinterpretations and distortions which have surrounded the subject for so long and has produced a highly readable view of the three Kennedy brothers. A must for anyone who is even vaguely interested in the Kennedy's.
